Project and Programme Management of Continual Service Improvement

ITIL speaks little about how to execute a CSI programme. An approach that is proving to be successful is the author's Tipu, a "relaxed methodology" for planning, executing and managing a continual programme of service improvement work. The "relaxed" portion of the approach stems from the reality that CSI programmes often have little funding. Also, ITIL initiatives often over-reach themselves, attempting to create revolutionary change far beyond the organisation's ability to absorb it. Tipu accepts these and other realities to provide a pragmatic approach to achieve steady progress within human timeframe.
