Walking the Waikato Way
The Waikato DHB is a large complex health care organisation that has embarked on a large scale facility redevelopment programme. Connecting the elements of such a complex programme has been assisted by the introduction to The Waikato Way as the organisations preferred project methodology. Chris will share with you how the Waikato Way has facilitated an improved outcome for key stakeholders within the organisation. He will outline the development of a process for users to request changes to the facility. The development of this process highlights the need to connect the end users of a facility, the Health Waikato PMO, the Building Programme Office and the Information Services PMO for the common good of the organisation. From this presentation you will gain an understanding of how managing stakeholder expectations have been undertaken at Waikato DHB. You will be able to apply these lessons in projects and programmes you manage.
