Stakeholder Engagement: How to be More Effective in your Project Management Even at the start-up phase of your project, stakeholder engagement is the key to your success. So, how do you ensure that buy-in or engagement from the stakeholders? And how do you ensure that they share the same expectations? In this context, the participants will be asked to consider what are the most important capabilities of successful project leaders; i.e. "What really makes a difference?" In his presentation, Alan will discuss a number of factors linked to Stakeholder engagement including the Model of Swift Trust (based on Stephem Covey's "The Speed of Trust"), time management with stakeholders (based on the concept of the "Stakeholder Circle" by Linda Bourne) and dealing with difficult stakeholders and the importance of Quality Conversations.
